It actually goes beyond that. Disabled Veterans who have had any head injuries can also be denied their 2nd Amendment right. All it takes is one Doctor who's a gun grabber.

As to the 'Separating Families' allegations, Children under 18 should remain with their parents. If the child is a US Citizen they can return when of age.

The following Pol agrees:
“We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

“We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society.”

“It’s time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity.”

“We can’t just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.”"

“We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground.”

“I certainly think the free market has failed.”

“I think it’s time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector [oil] in the entire economy, that they are being watched.”

“What I want to do is take those profits and apply them to alternative energy.”

“I have a million ideas. The country can’t afford them all.”

Karl Marx or Frederick Engels said none of these things; Hillary Clinton said them all.

See here for more gems from Hillary:

Wouldn't we all be better off if they went home and stayed there.
Consider that. Maybe it's not such a facetious idea. We certainly have the technology for most of the Business of Congress to be done from the Senators and Representatives Home State offices.
Imagine. If they all stayed in their home states where their Constituents live they would be:
Closer to the people they work for,
Outside the Beltway,
Farther from the Lobbyists

It would be harder for lobbyists and special interests to 'make the rounds' in their quest for specialized pork.

The Congress People wouldn't have to maintain those expensive apartments at the Watergate. They could leave a smaller detachment of staff in Washington.
We could probably sell one or more of the congressional office buildings, the Rayburn etc. Office space in the home precincts would probably be cheaper.

With the existing technology and security 'Daily Business' could be done over WAN (Wide Area Network) and also run Conference and committee business the same way.
These would be 'Live' face to face real-time activities.

It would of course be necessary for the members to be in Washington for some occasions, The State of the Union, Some swearing in ceremonies requiring a 'Hand on the Bible' and such. A Congressperson being Censured would be required to be on the floor of their respective Chamber, but the vote could be remote.

As they do today, C-Span could carry the unclassified feeds for roll call votes.
